18-Months Of Fun!!!

June has been quite a busy, fun month at our household!  Most importantly, a very handsome man celebrated a very important half-birthday:  On June 22, Titus turned 18-months!  He loves to chase his sister, go down slides, swing in his swing, "vacuum," eat, rock in his rocking chair, is beginning to talk (about 30 different words, although ball is still the most common) & understands about 85% of what we say (although that doesn't mean he does anything we ask him!)!  We enjoyed a weekend with our neighbors, the Bulls in Duluth) thankfully before all the flooding) & celebrated Father's Day there!

Krista and I ran Grandma's Half Marathon for the first time!  This makes our third half-marathon in 8 months!  Time for a break!  At the time of this picture, we were about 9 1/2 miles in and just came up "Lemon Drop Hill."  Our gallery was definitely a sight for sore eyes at that point!

Guess who loved the water slides:  Titus and Evie!  Titus kept Chad and I on our toes going up and down, up and down!  He even went down a few himself!  After talking Evie into it for two days, we finally got her to go down the big slides, which she had to do on a tube with me.  Once she started, she never stopped!  I loved going down with her but taking the stairs all the way up to the top a day after running 13.1 miles was not the most enjoyable part of the weekend!

The resort we stayed at had the kids make shirts for the parents running in the marathon.  Jackson and Evie mostly just blobbed paint everywhere on their shirts, but had fun!

Evie's first (and hopefully ONLY tatto)!  She wanted a pumpkin!! :)  You can never start celebrating Halloween too early!

This Handsome Boy is 18-Months Today!

It took a good day before Titus decided he liked getting the water splashed all over him!  Not sure if I ever decided I liked it!

Part of the pictures we took for our Father's Day Present to Chad!

Chad and I just changed all the bulbs in our house to energy efficent bulbs and Titus became obsessed with helping Chad change the bulbs.  He would climb the ladder and twist his hand like he was twisting the bulb into place.  Now, whenever he sees a light fixture, he will do the same hand motion!
