Busy Summer Bees!!

Trip to the Como Zoo with Auntie Enie!
While Daddy's away, the Lundeens will play!  Chad left for Training Camp in Mankato 5 weeks ago and our calendar has been full ever since!  I don't know if it's Evie, Titus or me that always feels the need to be on the go, but it definitely helped to make the time go faster while Chad was away!  We are happy to officially have Camp over and Dad back home now!

Moments before the seal swimming jumped right up to the glass and gave Titus such a start that he fell backward onto his rear end!  I don't know if I have ever laughed so hard!

Enjoying the giraffes with Auntie Enie (her favorite animal there)!

With Chad home for a night, we joined our neighbors, the Bulls, at the Carver County Fair!  Titus loved all of the exotic animals, although he was not too sure what to think of the baby giraffe wanting to sniff him!  Evie went on her very first Ferris Wheel ride but did NOT enjoy her pony ride!  Titus took his tractor driving ride quite seriously and loved to honk the horn the entire time!  Doesn't Chad look comfy sitting next to him?!

Watching Evie, Daddy, Jackson and Krista on the Ferris Wheel!  Next year, buddy!

We also took two trips down to Mankato to visit Dad:  once with just ourselves on a spur of the moment morning visit and the next time with half of our neighborhood!
Our two favorite Chads at Training Camp!

Joe Webb, Titus, Chad and Evie conferring!

Evie giving Chad Greenway's helmet a try!  Get 'em, Eves!
We spent 6 days in Alexandri-ahhh visiting Bumpa and Grandma Lucie.  We enjoyed a boat ride in a pontoon with our friend, Quinn and her parents and grandparents.  But mostly, we enjoyed the pool!  Every morning, Evie, Titus, Mommy and Bumpa would get up, eat breakfast (normally Bumpa cooked...a nice treat for Mommy) and headed to the heated pool!  Evie put her swimming lessons to good use while Titus proved you don't need lessons to jump in head first!  We also spent a little time at the Golf Course (just Mommy and Evie, as Titus would have been a bit distracting)!  Bumpa played in the annual Resorter's Golf Tourney!  It wasn't his year, but Evie loved his binoculars, eating hot dogs and his golf cart and could have cared less how he played!

Exhausted after playing so hard!

National Night Out with McGruff the Crime Dog and our neighborhood friends!

Enjoying the Splash Pad at our favorite park:  Miller Park in Eden Prairie!  We love to pack a lunch, bring our suits and spend the whole morning here!

Celebrating Grandpa Dave's 69th Birthday with a monster cake (guess who picked it out?)!

Our besties, the Thousands also came for a brief visit!  We loved catching up with them and were reminded how much we miss having them in our neighborhood!

Evie "Gabby" Lundeen!  It's hard to tell who got more into the Olympics:  Mommy or Evie!
